Saturday From a morning pick–up in your local area we travel by coach to our Midlands–area hotel, where we'll check in and park the bags before continuing on into central Birmingham. Here there'll be time to find a nice place for dinner before the curtain goes up at 7.30pm at the Alexander Theatre. You have a Stalls ticket with a face value of £45.50, but you can upgrade if you like. The coach will return to the hotel after the show.

After a full English breakfast we transfer to Birmingham where you will have most of the day to browse the fabulous Frankfurt Christmas Market. With over 180 big chalet–style stalls, you'll find handicrafts, jewellery, wooden toys and gadgets galore; Saxon beers, Bavarian sausages, marzipan, hot mulled wine... just like being in Frankfurt, in fact, but without all the travelling! As well as the German–style market, there's also a Christmas Craft Market with traders from the West Midlands area offering a selection of hand–crafted items and imported goods, plus locally produced food and drink too. We before set off for home in the mid–afternoon.
